FiCure, a new company offering top-level expertise, aims to support entrepreneurship and well-being and to be a pioneer in modern working life.

Four experienced professionals, Marjo Määttä, Mervi Toivanen, Minna Haataja-Koskinen, and Maria Hekkala, have established a new company in the personnel services industry. FiCure Oy is a company that wants to promote modern and flexible working life by assembling a network of top expert entrepreneurs. The network offers its expertise to businesses for various talent needs through freelance entrepreneurship.

FiCure's services primarily focus on three areas of expertise, where the founders themselves have long and strong experience. Founding members Marjo Määttä and Mervi Toivanen have worked in various expert and managerial positions in the social and health care sector in both public and private organizations. They bring to the company experience from a wide range of social and healthcare services, including home care, home hospital, and service housing for different customer groups. Additionally, their area of expertise includes the self-regulation, supervision, and client and patient safety in social and health care.

Minna Haataja-Koskinen is an experienced veterinarian who has worked in various practical and regulatory tasks in the veterinary field, possessing practical experience from several different administrative areas. Maria Hekkala is a seasoned HR professional. She has worked in human resources and operational management in the retail and restaurant sectors, as well as the health and wellness industry, in both domestic and international companies.

FiCure's services offer expert knowledge through its network of experts in three different areas of expertise. The experts operate as freelance entrepreneurs in various professional fields of social and health care and HR. FiCure's veterinary experts are top professionals in their field, skilled in diverse tasks, and specialized experts.

FiCure SOTE – In this service, the company offers healthcare, nursing, and rehabilitation experts through its network of freelance entrepreneurs. "Our network's professionals have expertise and experience in a wide range of social and health care tasks or deep expertise in a specific area. We offer expertise for client work, training, well-being at work services, management development, and special expert tasks," says Määttä.

Another area of expertise of the new company is FiCure HR. The company offers services in several areas of human resources work. “We have expertise especially in leadership, skill development, occupational well-being, HR analytics, coaching, and employer branding. Additionally, we have expertise in strategic cooperation between HR and business, building and developing it to the level of current and future needs. Our experts' HR knowledge is very broad, allowing us to offer customized services to all industries. We are also actively seeking new experts for our network,” Hekkala explains.

The third area of expertise at FiCure is FiCure VET, which offers comprehensive or tailored personnel services to veterinary companies. FiCure VET service includes acquisition and recruitment of veterinary expertise for flexible short-term or long-term needs. The service also offers development of leadership and teamwork in the workplace, promotion of well-being at work, and advancement of different HR practices and the attractiveness and retention power of the field. "Our goal is to form Finland's largest network of veterinary professionals. We support our network's veterinarians and animal care professionals in their career development and offer them new job opportunities. FiCure stands out by combining strong HR and veterinary expertise, thus providing the best expert support to its veterinary business clients and network professionals," Haataja-Koskinen elaborates on the service's goal and purpose.

Hekkala backgrounds FiCure's business idea: “In my role as an HR manager in companies from different industries, I have often been in situations where a temporary need for special expertise or a completely new type of expertise is identified. Companies are reforming their strategies, which in turn creates a need for experts. It can be difficult to find experts, and it is not always possible to establish a new position and recruit an employee in the company when the need for expertise arises. For this challenge, it is important to have modern and flexible solutions. Also, the way people work is in transition. People are increasingly thinking about their careers and want to offer their expertise in different ways. A growing number of people are starting their own businesses which brings flexibility to working life and opens up the opportunity for them to offer just their core expertise. At FiCure, we recognize this trend and want to be a bridge connecting entrepreneurs and customers. We put our own expertise into play to ensure that the customer's needs are successfully met. FiCure organizes a three part series of work welfare related webinars. The first part is aimed to veterinarians and take place on thursday 4th of April 2024 at 18 o'clock.

You will get a few tips from the lecture on how to develop your own feedback skills. The lecture, which is always topical, is given by a veterinarian, a solution-oriented supervisor and LUONTAISET TAIPUMUKSET™ -coach Agata Makowiecka.
